The logbook of the schooner Teazer details a privateering voyage from Portland, Me., to coastwise North America in Sept. 1812. The logbook is incomplete. The schooner's home port was Portland; the master was William B. Dobson; the logbook keeper was Thomas E. Baker. The logbook includes examples of poetry and sea songs, a crew list, and mentions at least one death.
